Quinta de la Rosa is an excellent family-owned winery located on the banks of the Douro river, near Pinhão. The 2019 Reserve White is a blend of native varieties from old vines – 60% Viosinho, 25% Rabigato, 5% Gouveio, and 10% a mixed field blend of varieties including Arinto and Códega do Larinho. It was partially fermented and matured in barrels with the remainder in small stainless-steel vats. This is a complex wine with lovely notes of stone fruits and wild herbs.
