The beautiful wines of Pyramid Valley are born in the dramatic soils and slops of the Waikari Estate in North Canterbury. A journey initially started by Mike and Claudia Weersing, the winery has been under the direction of Steve Smith and Brian Sheth since 2017. A specialist in Burgundian-styled Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the approach has always minimal intervention and according to the holistic principles of biodynamics.
The 2018 Angel Flower Pinot Noir vibrant yet focused and tensile, striking a wonderful balance of lifted floral notes, bright sweet-sour red berry fruit, exotic spices and deep, savoury earthiness. Drink now and over the next decade.
