Pouilly Fuisse Les Crays Gilles Morat 2022

Domaine Gilles Morat Pouilly-Fuissé Les Crays 2022 is a single-vineyard white wine produced from Chardonnay grapes in the Premier Cru climat of Les Crays in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation of Burgundy. Located in Vergisson in the far south of Burgundy, Domaine Morat is a well-respected domaine covering 7ha of organically farmed vineyards in the Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru and Saint-Véran appellations. From the Les Crays 1er Cru, this 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé comes from Chardonnay vines planted in 1982 on stony clay-marl soils at 350m altitude. The wine was matured in 20% new French oak barrels for 14 months before bottling.
