Established in 2010, Porseleinberg is the project of Boekenhoutskloof owner Marc Kent and incredibly talented winemaker Callie Louw. Having spent time at the revered Domaine Jamet in Côte Rôtie, the fragrant and refined wines of the Northern Rhône are unquestionably the blueprint for this 100% Syrah.
South Africa wine writer, Tim Atkin, described the 2018 as “focused, nuanced and very delicately oak, with raspberry and wild strawberry fruit, clove and white pepper spice and textured tannins. Simply world class.” Drink 2023-2035.
