Diego Planeta is undoubtedly one of the founding fathers of the “Sicilian wine renaissance” sparked around 15 years ago. This is a rare large format bottling of Santa Cecilia which is a pure expression of local variety Nero d’Avola from the town of Noto. It is medium-bodied and soft with notes of dried dark cherry, charred earth and leather.
