Planeta is one of Sicily’s most acclaimed wineries and is justifiably credited with helping the renaissance of the region’s wines. The 2017 is just the second release of Mamertino, a mid-weight blend of Nero d’Avola and Nocera from the Milazzo peninsula in the northern Sicily. It is bright and fresh with vibrant notes of black cherry, rose hip and wild herbs.
