Pétrus needs no introduction. It is arguably the most famous red wine in the world and often considered the pinnacle of the Pomerol appellation. Almost always made from 100% Merlot, the style of Pétrus is unique and in the best vintages often achieves levels of aromatic complexity, richness and silky texture that other producers can only dream of. It is an exceptionally age-worthy wine, and it requires significant cellaring before reaching the best version of itself. The 1982 vintage was generally considered one of the best in the 20th century and this release is approaching its peak. Presented here in a luxurious 6-litre bottle.
