Peter Michael Winery is undoubtedly one of the finest producers of exceptional quality Chardonnay in California. Ma Belle-Fille is a single vineyard planted in 1999 at 1,700 – 1,900 feet elevation in the Knights Valley AVA of Sonoma County. It is the highest vineyard of the estate and produces wines with a distinctive marine influence.
In the words of the winemaker, "The 2019 vintage bursts from the glass with vine blossom, pure liquid minerals, nectarines, white flowers, creamed hazelnut, pastry elements, and Reinette apple. On the palate, noticeable layer upon layer of stone, minerals, grilled bread, and jasmine are accentuated with an oily, full-bodied concentration... perfectly balanced and structured to age gracefully."
