Peter Michael Les Pavots Half 2009

Founded in 1983, Peter Michel Winery is a boutique producer of phenomenally high-quality Californian wines made in the model of the great wines of Bordeaux and Burgundy. Les Pavots is the flagship red and in 2009 was composed of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot from the Knights Valley AVA in Sonoma. This is one of the finest releases of Les Pavots remarkable richness, purity of fruit and towering structure. A sheer delight to drink, it is redolent of cassis, cigar box, clove, bay leaf, chocolate and truffle.
