Though famous for its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Peter Michael Winery also produces a high-quality Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon from the high elevation Les Pavots Vineyard. The 2015 L’Après-Midi is 88% Sauvignon Blanc with 12% Semillon and has a wonderfully expressive nose of guava, lemon, white currant, honeysuckle and fresh almond. It is rich and refined, with superb balance and a long, complex finish.
