Peter Michael Cuvee Indigene Chardonnay Magnum 2014

150 cl
£522.00
Peter Michael Winery was established in 1983 and has garnered a significant reputation for its production of world-class terroir-driven Chardonnay. Whilst the majority of Chardonnay produced is vineyard specific, Cuvée Indigéne is a barrel selection given its name by original winemaker, Helen Turley, in reference to the traditional practice of native yeast fermentations. The 2014 is a marvellously complex and voluptuous wine with delicious notes of white peach, pineapple, crème brûlée, vanilla, candied orange and toasted nuts. This is a wonderfully ageworthy wine that will only just be entering its prime drinking phase.
