Peter Franus Albarino 2016

75 cl
£32.10
After a distinguished career as winemaker at Mount Veeder Winery, Peter Franus established his own label in 1987. His aim was to produce delicious and reasonably priced wines distinguished by their unique character, richness, harmony and a genuine sense of the mountainside vineyards they came from.

This is an aromatic, lively and zesty expression of the classic Galician variety, Albariño, sourced from a single vineyard in the cooler climate sub-region of Carneros. Akin to its Spanish iterations, this is a wonderfully food-friendly wine that would pair beautifully with fish dishes, perhaps with an Asian twist.
