Maison Perrier-Jouët is one of the most historic and distinctive producers in Champagne, renowned for its elegant, floral Champagnes. Belle Epoque is their flagship wine and is only released in the finest years. Though perhaps overshadowed by the 1982 vintage, 1983 is in its own right often considered of high quality and is perfect for drinking now. It is a wonderfully fragrant and subtle wine, offering notes of dried exotic fruits, candied citrus, cinnamon, heather, nougat and walnuts.
