Released for the first time in 1957, St Henri is a stalwart of the Penfolds collection and is wine renowned for its remarkable consistency of quality and consistency. 2017 saw a marginally cooler, longer growing season but an Indian summer ensured grapes were harvested at perfect maturity and this is, once again, a fine release. Aged for 12 months in 50+ year-old vats, this is a wine of superb fruit definition and richness, with seamless texture and an epically long, herb-infused finish. This vintage was 97% Shiraz and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon.
