First released in 1964, Bin 707 perfectly reflects the Penfolds ‘House Style’ through a Cabernet Sauvignon lens. It is a multi-regional blend with fruit sourced from Coonawarra, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills, matured in new American oak for 20 months. The 2018 release is a stunning wine of immense concentration and sumptuous flavour. Though the tannins are perfectly ripe, they are pronounced in their nature and this will require significant bottle age to ameliorate. Drink 2025-2045.
