Château Palmer is a 3ème Cru Classé property and is one of the most celebrated estates in the Margaux appellation, renowned for producing rich and opulent wines with exceptional longevity. 1961 is a hallowed year in Bordeaux and Palmer can almost certainly lay claim to having produced one of the most legendary wines of the vintage. Neal Martin writing in The Wine Advocate scored it a perfect 100 points and described it as “heavenly, ethereal, moving and profound”.
