Jayson Pahlmeyer planted his vineyard in 1981 using “suitcase clones” allegedly smuggled from France. His founding philosophy was to create a “California Mouton” and has undoubtedly secured his winery’s reputation as one of the finest producers of Bordeaux varieties in Napa. The 1995 Proprietary Red is a sensational release blessed by the winemaking expertise of the legendary Helen Turley. It is expressive and intense with fabulous flavour extract, refined texture and seamless balance.
