Having helped established the renowned Au Bon Climat winery alongside Jim Clendenen, Adam Tomach planted his own vineyard in Ojai in 1983 and eventually decided to branch out by himself. Specialising in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah, his mission was to make high-quality, European-styled wines from unique cooler climate sites. This is a perfectly mature example of Pinot Noir from the hallowed Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Barbara County.
