This limited release 8-year-old Islay single malt was distilled at Bruichladdich in May 2011 and bottled under the Octomore label in May 2019 for Douglas Laing`s Old Particular range. The nose has a maritime character, with dried seaweed, followed by a sweet smokiness. A certain earthy richness dominates the palate, with a touch of soot, burnt sugar and black pepper.
