Another entry in Ocho`s excellent single vintatge, single region bottlings. This particular edition was produced using agave from the high elevations, leading to a greater level of sweetness in the plant. Although this is an Extra Anejo, the oak takes a back seat here. Notes of fresh fruit like apple, pear and banana come to the fore on the nose and palate while a subtle hint of creamy vanilla comes through on the finish.
