Occidental is the single-vineyard winemaking project of Californian legend, Steve Kistler. The SWK Vineyard is found in the northwest corner of the Bodega Headlands and is planted with Pinot Noir clones derived from two grand cru vineyards in Vosne-Romanée. The 2014 is a brilliant release of delightfully pure fruit, lifted savoury perfume, tightly-knit structure and wonderful overall elegance.
