Jean Grivot Nuits-St-Georges Les Boudots 1998 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Boudots in the Nuits-St-Georges appellation of the Côte de Nuits. Based in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Jean Grivot is one of the leading wine producers in Burgundy. The estate is currently run by the husband-and-wife team Étienne Grivot and Marielle, who took over from Étienne’s father Jean Grivot in 1987. The domaine has been assembled over several generations to its current size of 15.5 hectares and includes holdings in three Grand Cru sites. Clos de Vougeot, Echézeaux, and Richebourg. This release is their ‘Aux Boudots’ Premier Cru from 1998, which is still drinking supremely well.
