Mount Brave is another part of the Jackson Family portfolio with winemaking overseen by the highly acclaimed Chris Carpenter (La Jota, Cardinale and Lokoya). Though a much-maligned variety, this is Merlot of the highest calibre. It is wonderfully varietally true with sumptuously rich plummy fruit, chocolatey depth and savoury notes of rolling tobacco. Full-bodied, lush and silken, this is a seriously impressive wine.
