Domaine Michel Magnien is a biodynamic wine producer covering approximately 18 hectares across the Côte de Nuits, specifically in the renowned villages of Morey-Saint-Denis, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée. This particular release comes from ‘Les Chaffots’, a Premier Cru site within the small appellation of Morey-Saint-Denis, where Magnien owns a 0.74-hectare plot. The derivation of the name is from an old word for hay-barn, which presumably once stood here.
