An exceptionally fine Italian red, combining three Bordeaux grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The result is a terroir-driven wine, expressing multi-layered aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, marjoram, bell pepper and liquorice. The palate is opulent but approachable. It pairs nicely with oxtail croquettes, veal or spinach and mint lasagna.
