Chateau Montelena is an iconic Napa estate and undoubtedly helped place California on the fine wine map when it took out one of the top prizes at the 1976 ‘Judgement of Paris’. The 2003 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is classic in style with great intensity and expressiveness of fruit but restraint in all the correct places. Whilst drinking well now, this will continue to age and improve for at least another 10 years.
