Owned since the 19th century by the Desfontaine family, Château de Chamilly is a historical wine producer situated in the hamlet of Chamilly. The estate makes wines from vineyards in Montagny and Mercurey, and also from some small holdings in the Côte de Beaune. This particular cuvée comes from Les Reculerons, which lies on calcareous soil, producing Chardonnays with a distinctive minerality.
