Domaine Coche-Dury comprises just nine hectares of vineyards on miniscule parcels over the six communes of Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Monthélie and Volnay and is widely considered to be one of the finest producers of white wine in the world. Their wines often require a short spell in the cellar to reveal their full complexity and the 1999 Meursault Villages is a stellar release now absolutely at peak for drinking, with beautifully rich fruit, delightful savoury nuances and delicate mineral tension.
