Mayacamas Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum 1974

150 cl
£1,180.00
Based in the Mount Veeder AVA, Mayacamas Vineyards was established in 1889 and is one of the most iconic Californian wineries of all time. This is in large part due to it featuring its 1971 Cabernet at the famous 1976 ‘Judgement of Paris’ but, in any case, they have garnered worldwide love for the long-lived, traditionally styled wines they produce. 1974 was a remarkable vintage and this full-bodied and surprisingly youthful Cabernet offers up wonderful notes of cassis, mocha, herbs, minerals, cigar smoke and earth. Old school and delicious.
