Masseto 1995

One of the most sought-after Super Tuscan wines, Masseto is made entirely from Merlot and produced by the renowned Tenuta dell`Ornellaia. The wine is appreciated for its aromatic complexity, opulent fruity character and tannic structure. The 1995 vintage displays delicate aromas of red berries, rose hips, some tobacco notes and candied orange zest. Good complexity, with notes of plums and ripe tannins. Elegant texture, with a fine acid backbone. The wine has great length and some minerality in the finish.
