The 2011 Gold Reserve is an exceptionally strong release from top Lebanese producer, Massaya. It is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah from high altitude vineyards. It is intense and powerful, laden with black fruits, spice and earth. With tannins still grippy, this could certainly benefit from further cellar aging.
