Mas de Daumas Gassac Blanc Half 2018

Mas de Daumas Gassac produced their first vintage in 1978 and are recognised as one of the leading lights in the Pays d’Hérault department of the Languedoc-Roussillon. The 2018 Blanc is a blend of 25% each Viognier, Chardonnay and Petit Manseng, with 15% Chenin Blanc and 10% other white varieties from the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert appellation and is fermented and matured in stainless steel. It is medium-bodied, silky and slightly off-dry, offering up abundant notes of white orchard fruits, citrus zest, stone fruits, honey and spice. A wine to be drunk young, it pairs very well with grilled fish.
