This is an extremely rare bottle of 1933 Château Margaux which is now 90 years old. The year was marked by the end of the increasingly unpopular prohibition of alcohol in the US, which lasted for long 13 years. As for Bordeaux, harvest was pushed back to October 10th as winemakers waited for the fruit to ripen. It produced elegant, light wines on the whole, with beautiful aromatics.
