Helen Turley is regarded as one of the most influential figures in Californian wine over the past 30 years having either worked or consulted for some of the region’s finest wineries (e.g Peter Michael, Colgin and Bryant). Three Sisters Chardonnay is a cuvée no longer made by Turley as the fruit is now used by Martinelli Vineyards and older bottlings are hard to come by. This is an incredibly small production wine of just several hundred cases and has a superb reputation for its innate complexity and ageworthiness. Robert Parker described the 2003 as being a “magnificently rich, full-throttle, layered and nuanced Chardonnay.”
