This rare vintage Macallan single malt in the 1 litre bottle size was part of the Elegancia series, which was released in 2002 and discontinued in 2009. The whisky was distilled in 1990 and spent at least 12 years in selected rich, dark Oloroso casks and light, crisp Fino sherry casks from Jerez. The dram was bottled exclusively for the duty-free market. A rarity for collectors and fans of unique Scotch whiskies.
