Gordon & MacPhail
Currently owned by Diageo, Linkwood is a Speyside distillery founded in 1821 by Peter Brown, factor of Linkwood Estate. It is known for producing single malt whiskies that are often used as components in blends such as Johnnie Walker and White Horse. This is a rare and highly sought-after vintage Linkwood that was distilled in 1954 and bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail in 2010. The liquid was matured in oak casks for more than 50 years, which has allowed it to develop a rich and complex flavour profile. Expect notes of honey, caramel, toffee, vanilla, and dried fruit, with a hint of smoke and oak.
