Maggie Harrison previously worked with Manfred Krankl at Sine Qua Non before releasing her own Lillian label Syrah in 2004. Over time the project has grown to now also include Cabernet Sauvignon and Roussanne. In 2011, grapes were offered from legendary Rhone Ranger Pete Stolpman’s Ballard Canyon AVA vineyard and, having worked with its fruit back in the 90s, Harrison leapt at the opportunity. This is pure-fruited and rich with delicate phenolic texture but supreme complexity and balance.
