Château L’If was purchased in 2010 by Jacques Thienpont and Fiona Morrison, who are best known for owning the famous Pomerol estate, Le Pin. The 2016 is a superb follow up to the brilliant 2015 and is made from 100% Merlot. It is a wonderful example of modern Saint-Émilion with excellent purity of fruit, aromatic complexity, precision and finesse.
