L’Hospitalitas is the flagship Syrah and Mourvèdre blend from a 3-hectare plot of Gérard Bertrand’s Château l’Hospitalet estate in AOP La Clape. It is intense purple in colour with an exuberant nose of ripe black fruits, violets, cedar, pink peppercorns, cocoa and pencil shavings. On the palate it has wonderful breadth and power, with exceptionally fine tannins and cool mineral tension throughout. This is a full-bodied, rich style of wine best served with red meat or roasted poultry.
