Alvaro Palacios is undoubtedly one of the most important winemakers in Spain and his pioneering efforts in Priorat have helped secure the regions reputation for being able to produce fine wines of exceptional character and quality. L’Ermita is his flagship wine made and the 2012 release is a blend of 92% Garnacha, 7% Cariñena and 1% white grapes from his oldest parcels of vines. It is an incredibly powerful yet unwaveringly elegant wine with profound aromatic complexity and extraordinary depth of flavour. Only 1,670 bottles of this wonderful wine were produced.
