This vintage Calvados was sourced from the Domfront and La Ferté-Macé regions. Light amber in colour, it exhibits delicate floral aromas, a bit of earth and plenty of fresh apple peel on the nose. Lively and bright on the palate for such an old brandy, with lovely flavours of apple compote and sharp acidity. Nutty on the finish.
