Released to mark the 200th anniversary of the founding of Lagavulin by John Johnston in 1816, this 8-year-old single malt is a fitting tribute for the milestone. The nose reveals black pepper and woodsmoke, followed by orange and lemon zest, hints of peach and green apple. The palate is rich, showing more woodsmoke, oatmeal, honey and finishing on a peppery, spicy note.
