Château Lafleur-Gazin is another of the Moueix family portfolio and is nestled between Château Gazin and Château Lafleur-Pétrus on the northern edge of the Pomerol plateau. With yields down by 33%, the 2017 is highly unusual as it is made from 100% Merlot. Eminently approachable, even in youth, this is a superb expression of Pomerol with a slightly lighter, less muscular frame yet exhibits classical aromas of baked plums, liquorice, cigar box and truffle.
