Situated in the village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the world-famous wine producer that needs no introduction. The estate, which is co-owned by the Villaine and Leroy families, makes wines from eight different grand cru vineyards that span the length of the Côte d`Or. The 6.06-hectare La Tâche is a monopole since 1933 and the wines from this vineyard are regarded as the finest expressions of Pinot Noir. The 2013 vintage is quite opulent and generous, showing a sweet, herbal core and polished tannins.
