La Petite Eglise is a wine made by one of the leading producers of Pomerol, Château l’Elgise Clinet. Its debut was in 1986 and was conceived by the late Denis Durantou as a different expression of his vineyards rather than as “second wine”, with fruit coming from a parcel of vines planted in sandier soils. This is a charming wine now at peak maturity.
