Château La Mission Haut-Brion is one of the preeminent estates in Graves, Pessac-Léognan and is renowned for producing exceptionally concentrated, complex and long-lived wines. Though hardly short of competition, the 2005 vintage will certainly be considered as one of the greatest releases of the 2000’s. A blend of 69% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and a splash of Cabernet Franc, it is an immensely powerful wine, endowed with enormously concentrated fruit and imposing tannic structure.
