Made to the same exacting standards as the Grand Vin and from grapes grown in the same vineyard, La Dame de Montrose is the second wine of Saint-Estèphe Second Growth, Château Montrose. From the dry and warm 2015 vintage, this is an excellent release composed of 55% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. Powerful and expressive, it offers up complex notes of black fruits, dried herbs, spring flowers, olive tapenade and wet stones. It is perfect for early drinking but has the capacity for medium-term cellaring.
