From the prestigious Château Ducru Beaucaillou in the Saint-Julien appellation comes La Croix de Beaucaillou, the producer’s second wine that has been made since 1995. One of its latest releases is this 2019 vintage, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, matured in 60% new oak for 12 months. Despite its young age, the wine displays a remarkable depth of black fruits, with hints of liquorice, dark chocolate and tobacco. Best enjoyed from 2028 onwards.
