First produced in 1991, La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion is the second wine of illustrious Pessac-Léognan estate, Château La Mission Haut-Brion. From the superb 2016 vintage this is an intense, superbly defined and effortlessly fresh release composed of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36.5% Merlot and 21.5% Cabernet Franc. A far better earlier drinking prospect than the Grand Vin, this is ready to drink, though decanting is strongly recommended.
