Made from younger vines, this second wine from Château La Mission Haut-Brion has been produced since the 1991 vintage. The 2019 blend is composed of 50.1% Merlot, 45.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4.4% Cabernet Franc, harvested from the 11th of September to the 2nd of October. It is a beautifully scented wine, showing aromas of red berries and floral elements. On the palate, black fruits are complemented by earthy notes and fine-grained tannins, all leading to a long and spicy finish.
